Reason of bearing temperature rise of centrifugal fan
It is equipped with two double
suction centrifugal fans, but in practical application, it is found that one of
them has the problem of abnormal bearing temperature rise for many times. We
know that if the bearing temperature is abnormal, it should be handled in time,
otherwise it will affect the safe and stable operation of the centrifugal fan.
What are the main reasons for the abnormal temperature rise of centrifugal fan
bearing?
Now let's analyze the reasons. The reason
for such a problem may be that there are some defects in the quality of the
centrifugal fan itself. However, during the on-site inspection, it was
found that the bearing oil level was normal, the lubricating oil quality test
results showed no deterioration, and the bearing cooling water volume was
normal. Combined with the analysis and comparison of abnormal conditions,
it is confirmed that the quality of the equipment is normal.
After eliminating this reason, it may be
the problem of bearing temperature rising caused by load fluctuation. Usually,
when the speed of the centrifugal fan is fixed, the change of its current value
can reflect the fluctuation of the load acting on the fan. And because the
load is ultimately acting on the bearing, it will lead to the change of
friction between the dynamic and static parts of the bearing. The increase of
friction will naturally produce a lot of heat, leading to the rise of
temperature.
According to the analysis of the production
situation on site, in fact, in the process of desulfurization system operation,
there is a problem of sudden increase of flue gas density. The increase of flue
gas density will directly increase the load acting on the bearing of
centrifugal fan, so the friction force on the bearing will increase
significantly, and then the temperature rise range will exceed the allowable
range of the bearing, which will aggravate the temperature rise of the bearing.
In addition, the rise of flue gas
temperature in the work site will also have a certain impact. That is to
say, during the operation of the centrifugal fan, the load on the bearing
increases due to the increase of the flue gas temperature and density at the
working site. At the same time, the bearing clearance is smaller due to the
increase of the flue gas temperature, the friction between the dynamic and
static increases, and the bearing temperature further increases.
